Season 2 (10 episodes)
Season 3 (April 2022)
Where to watch: TVBox, Animedao
My ratings: 9.8/10
Artwork - (3/3)
Flow - (2.8/3), I've always watched anime at 1.5x speed, so this was considered a bit fast as there are a lot of side characters.
Plot - (4/4) Very close to reality, you can literally see this happening to a friend. Not overly exaggerated and no moments where you go "in the real world this will not happen".
An elite gamer is forced out of his professional team and gets a job at an Internet cafe and unexpectedly reinvents himself to return to online glory. It is really important to know that behind every avatar there is a real human behind it, so for gamers out there it doesn’t hurt to be nice to others. Watching this anime really reminds me of that. There is only so much one person can do, and with a team so much more can be achieved. In the series you’re able to really see the positive development for all the characters with a good team leader. How a good team leader can create synergies by utilising everyone’s strength.
I have mad respect for someone who is being treated unjustly and yet does not retaliate with fits of anger/tantrum/vengeful casper. The main character literally thought in a bigger scale of things, how would it affect everyone else and decided to take the unjust and channel it out in positive and constructive ways. This is a trait that I definitely would love to practice and eventually pick up , the cool calm and collected way of thinking and not giving in to rage. He did not dismiss his emotion, acknowledge what has happened, what will happen and move on with his life and continue to do what he does best.
Main reason why I gave such a high score for this anime is due to it’s realism, it reflects exactly what society is like, what each individual will face at some point of our life and showing that there is a better way to handle obstacles when things don’t go our way.
