Now that remote work is taking the world by storm, sped up by the whole pandemic. I'm sure most people are kinda excited about the idea of working from home but heres the thing, just like everything else, remote work comes with its set of pros and cons. Hence in this post I'll talk about some remote work challenges and how to overcome them.
Tried and tested by fellow remote worker of 8 months!
Apr 2021 update: Moved on from the below youtube channel (Magic chess Mobile Legend) and looking to restart YT but with a better purpose. So I thought long and hard and asked myself, if there's one thing I would want to refer and remember forever, what would it be? Lo and behold~ I have found the answerrrr......
Remember in the last post I mentioned something about trying out something new? So this is what I've been so busy with for the last few days.
I know it's been 3 days since I last updated, and it's not because I fell off the bandwagon. I promise this is not an excuse but I kinda found something that I want to do, and have been doing that. And OMG how time flies, I barely have enough time to use in a day.
Keeping it under wraps first and once there's some progress I'll be sure to let you guys know. That aside, today's topic is very constant in my life, and I feel it from time to time without realising that it could be a repetitive pattern and today I want to use my blog, to hopefully be able to think it through and break the pattern.
Writing this post because it feels like a follow up post from the last post and also a little #notetoself so that I am reminded of these little things I can do to maintain or increase productivity level. Yes, I do have a habit of reading my blogposts from time to time.
Demetri here is a wise man. And the couch's best friend, the bed is also the enemy of productivity.
So 1 blogpost a day yea... sounds easy until everyday I need to think about what I need to write for the day. And I kid you not, I've actually changed the topic a few times before deciding on this one.
For the past 2 years, I have a created a booklist for myself reason being, I am not reading enough. A proud bookworm here hasn't really been reading ever since she joined the labour force. So one day 2 years ago, I was determined to get back to reading. But what should I read? Do I still like the books that I read when I was 19 years old? Not knowing where to even begin, hence the idea of the book list. So here's my list for 2019 :
As mentioned on my last post, I tried out a few freelancing websites to hopefully get me some gigs.
And I know most of the younger generation now is thinking of quitting their job and going into freelancing via these websites. Fret not, I've done 20% of the work. I registered myself and checked through the jobs and even submitted some proposals. The shockest (cause I'm shocker that shock) thing I found out about some of these jobs...
SCAMMY. By scammy here I mean, it smells fishy, i'm like 99% sure it's a scam and if someone wants to prove me wrong to try it out, be my guest. But I am not going to do it.
So let's start with the websites that I checked out and drop my "proposals"
