So as a celebratory trip for the end of my last paper for the whole of 3 years, I went water rafting for the very first time.
The trip from Kota Kinabalu to Kiulu was about 1 hour drive.
-kiulu (level 1-2)
-during rainy season
-has a starting point and ending point (all the companies have different starting&ending point)
Price rm50 (only rafting). For food you need to add on RM10 (need to tell beforehand)
Picture: RM40 per boat, so since we had 2 boat, we had to pay RM80.
Usually the package they sell is for 8km of rafting, however depending on the condition of the river on that day, sometimes we can raft for 15km but need to add on RM10.
RM240 for vios and saga.
Rm30 fuel for each car. (around 14 litre/car)
There were 10 of us,
Total cost = RM88/person for rafting, transport & pictures without food.
So then we split into 2 boats, one that wants to get overturned and the other that just want to stay dry and safe.
Funny story though, cause for some reason, the boat that did not want to get overturned manage to do just that. TWICE whereas we, who wanted to get overturned (cause we're such adrenaline junkies) find it so hard to fall into the river and we didn't even realize how hard he tried to turned us until we saw the pictures.
We actually played longer than the time shown in the camera but because there were no other spots for the cameraman to take picture so that's why there's not much pictures. The whole thing was around 1hr 15 minutes.
Next up, Padas Rafting! In November perhaps ;)
