So I guess, most of you know that I've moved to KL because of a job offer.
It's a little personal and not a walk to the park with rainbows and butterflies, I'm posting this because I believe there are a lot of out there who is or perhaps was in this situation, if you still are, know that you're not alone and that you are never alone.
To those who really know me, you'll probably know of my almost non-existent fashion sense and so to avoid bringing unnecesary amount clothes which I will probably end up not wearing I got Ely to style me!
Yes I know it's been a while since I updated, 4 months to be exact.
No, I have not abandon my blog. I'll start posting whatever I'm suppose to post when I get back home which is a week from now.
Mix feelings. Kinda happy to be back, kinda reluctant to leave this dream-like place. It's not like I'm living in a dream but going back will mean facing reality. #NeedToStartAdulting
Anyways, currently in San Diego, absolutely loving this town. It's chill with mountains and seas, reminds me of home. So until I start posting my 500000 throwback posts on America and random places in Sabah, do follow me on insta (chewymingming) to know where I'm currently at.
Lastly, many thanks to those who has not given up on me and are still reading my page! Lots of love from me.
Hey guys Im still alive and well, don't worry! Currently in Los Angeles, waiting for my next flight to Minneapolis at 12.45am which is 2 and half hours from now.. It's a sunday here by the way.
Can't believe I've been flying for almost 20 hours, flying is tiring, not kidding.
Warning: Lots of words, no pictures ahead, might be boring to people who DO NOT like to travel, meet people and go for exchange programs.
I'm typing this while waiting to board my flight. Crazy is an understatement. Surreal feels more like it. So how did this happen?
Sunday morning I received a call from KBS (Kementerian Belia dan Sukan aka Ministry of Youth and Sports) telling me that I've gotten the Exchange Program to Korea on 18th August 2015.
Thank you YMM Penampang for giving me this opportunity to visit such an interior district. It was my first time going to Pitas, which takes around 2 hours by car. Started our journey around 8.30am, had a few pit stops along the way cause most of them wanted to go to the loo.
Last weekend I went to Port Dickson with my sis and CZ for a selection camp organised by Kementerian Belia dan Sukan (KBS). Considered myself one of the lucky ones who managed to get to go cause apparently there were a lot that applied for it and from there they shortlist it to a thousand to take the psychology test (which all Sabahan and Sarawakians were excepted to take cause it was held in Putrajaya) and through that psychology test only 200 participants were selected to join this Selection Camp.
At first, we thought we didn't manage to get pick cause there was no news about anything for around 3 months, and then one fine morning, we received an email.
I'm sorry for not updating last week, and I have a super good reason for it. I sprained my shoulders, I have no idea how but I did. And it hurts like a bitchh, I literally couldn't lift my hand, someone had to feed me. First time i ever felt such excruciating pain, the experience made me realized how important each and every part of your body is, it's just my shoulders but getting out of bed was a torture, I mean I never did realise how one part can affect all the others. This too gave me an insight on how disabled and injured feels. How it feels like a burden to everyone around you and yet equally helpless in that sense cause you simply can't do anything on your own. Point being, take care of your body and be more sensitive towards the people around you especially those that needs a little help. Oh, and many thanks to those who checked up on me, making sure I take my meds and updating me on whatever I missed in class, much appreciation and love. And my sister who called me a T-rex for my condition, thanks for trying to make me laugh and lighten up the mood with stupid T-rex bump,T-rex five and some seriously lame T-rex jokes.... though I know you'll never read this.
